The Keystone Centre and Provincial Exhibition of Manitoba will host their unique Horse3 event in the Westoba Agricultural Centre of Excellence at the Keystone Centre in Brandon, MB, once again, next Spring.
In its 6th year, Horse3 celebrates the power and wonder of the horse-human relationship through its weekend of equine guided education and entertainment, April 12-14, 2013.
At Horse3, a multitude of equine disciplines are featured; fans attend clinics, see demonstrations and entertainment, get the opportunity to Ride-with-the-Experts and purchase products at the H3 Trade Show for all aspects of their horse-centric lives!
Returning this year is the NAERIC Trainer’s Challenge – Colt starting competition, it is a highlight of this distinctive event. Three clinicians take a young horse out of a supplied select herd and individually call upon their knowledge, skills and ability to quickly form understandings and relationships between horse and trainer. This Challenge showcases the unique connection between horse and human, which is something not to be missed!
New this year to Horse3, Mounted Shooting and Mini-Chuck Racing!
Mounted shooting is the fastest growing equestrian sport in North America. It is a fast paced event that combines horsemanship with safe firearms handling and shooting skills. The Manitoba Mounted Shooting Association hosts.
From Sheho Saskatchewan, The Hawreluik Racing Company brings this unique Mini-Chuck Racing Team. The horn blows and the action begins! Just like the big wagons, they make a figure 8 pattern rapidly racing around the arena, completing 2 laps and onto the finish line. The louder the crowd cheers, the faster the ponies run. A fan favourite!
