Rules & Regulations

The Keystone Centre works hard to be one of Canada’s premier event facilities.

To ensure the safety of all of our visitors, employees and stakeholders we enforce the following rules:

  • To use the facility only as assigned
  • All entrances, exits and doorways must be kept clear at all times
  • Smoking is not permitted in the facility in accordance with the City of Brandon Bylaw #6696
  • All alcohol consumed on Keystone Centre property must be provided by the Keystone Centre and served in accordance with MLCC regulations. Non-compliance will result in removal from Keystone Centre property and appropriate charges applied
  • All Food & Beverage services are to be provided by the Keystone Centre or its approved supplier
  • The Keystone Centre is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged property
  • The Keystone Centre will be reimbursed in full for needless or accidental damages of its property caused either directly or indirectly by individuals permitted by the user to participate in the use of the facility
  • Use of motorized carts, scooters, gators, etc. indoors is strictly prohibited unless authorized by Keystone Centre Management or for medical reasons.
  • Facility users and visitors must comply with all environmental laws, rules and regulations
  • Keystone Centre Management reserves the right to take all precautions and reasonable steps necessary to ensure the safety of the public, exhibitors and animals
  • All Keystone Centre equipment must be operated by Keystone Centre employees unless authorized by Keystone Centre Management
  • All parking regulations must be adhered to, non-compliance will result in vehicle ticketing and/or towing
  • All livestock trailers and large equipment must park on the east and north sides of the Keystone Centre.
  • Keystone Centre reserves the right to assign barn for show use
  • All show participants must label each stall with contact information for after hour emergencies
  • Staples, nails and tacks are not to be used to attach articles to the horse stalls
  • For Open Ride Nights, Barrel Racing or Open Roping, participants under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult
  • During Open Ride Nights, Barrel Racing or Open Roping, no one under the age of 18 may ride a stallion in the arena
  • Cleaning up after your animals is appreciated and will assist the Keystone Centre in ensuring affordable use
  • It is understood and agreed that participants will be solely responsible for any consequential or other loss, injury, or damage incurred while participating in the events held at the Keystone Centre. I (We) also agree that the Keystone Centre and sponsors may use my photo for promotional purposes
  • Pets – always on a leash, allowed in stabling areas only, not in halls, show areas, or concession vicinity
  • All participants ride at their own risk
